Counselor Gary Dittrich Cincinnati Male

Gary Dittrich, MA, LPCC

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Hi! My name is Gary Dittrich and I have the privilege of working with adolescents, adults, couples and families as professional counselor in private practice (Ohio license) and as a certified coach nationwide.

I am highly rated by my clients and peers.

I love what I do and bring a unique brand of energy to the table! I ask questions that break down the issue(s), confront reality, and proactively move people forward.

I specialize in helping clients address 'The Good, Bad, and Ugly' of life and custom design programs to facilitate healing and growth. I teach many techniques to deal with stress, anxiety, anger, depression, substance abuse, addiction, and hot button issues like infidelity, rejection, resentments, insecurities etc.

I help clients learn what healthy relationships look like and help them get back on the same page.

As a exec./life coach, I have worked with business owners, C-level execs, young professionals, and college students to identify their passions, connect spiritually, and find meaning and purpose in life. I grew up in a family business, have worked with many family businesses during my metals career, and teach great tools for personal and professional conflict resolution.

Prior to entering private practice, I worked as an individual counselor and group leader at a men's residential rehab facility, City Gospel Mission, in downtown Cincinnati and as an individual and couples counselor at the College Hill Presbyterian Care Center. In both settings, I was fortunate to gain experience with a diverse clientele over a wide range of significant issues.

For the first twenty years of my career, I successfully traded metals internationally and domestically (7 years) and co-founded/built a successful, commodity brokerage business (13 years). I also co-owned a financial services business in the early 2000s. In 2008, I re-dedicated my life to helping others professionally and completed a counseling degree at Cincinnati Christian University in December 2010 and a coaching certification in 2012.

I have specific training and experience in the integration of Christian values and beliefs in the counseling/coaching process (available on request). I counsel/coach many people who pass on the spiritual component.

I currently live in Japan and have experience working with military families.
